Testimony resumes today in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial. On Thursday, defense heard testimony from a Massachusetts hospital chaplain who met with Clancy on the day after she murdered her three young children in 2023. She said Clancy told her she heard a voice in her head commanding her to harm her children.
The jury was dismissed after hearing from the chaplain, with the judge saying today “will be a longer day.” An expert on postpartum psychosis will testify for the defense, and prosecutors will call three rebuttal witnesses. Closing arguments are expected next week.
