Governor Abbott is praising a South Texas school district for its commitment to excellence. The governor was discussing education during a conference on Tuesday. He cited the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo school district for having more than 60 percent of its schools rated A.
The governor attributed the excellence to having 82 percent of its teachers participating in the state’s Teacher Incentive Allotment.
