No injuries have been reported after a junkyard fire in Edinburg. First responders were called to the 73-hundred block of East Owassa Road around 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Officials say people were working on a vehicle in the junkyard when it caught fire. The fire spread to multiple vehicles before it was contained. Firefighters from Alamo, San Juan, Pharr and Donna responded to the scene to assist Edinburg first responders during the fire.
