By A man sentenced in a child sex abuse case is in the hospital after repeatedly stabbing himself in the neck in a Guadalupe County courtroom. The sheriff’s office says Charles Wyatt of Cibolo stabbed himself on Thursday after being sentenced to 12 years prison.
Wyatt was convicted for child sexual abuse, possession of child pornography, and invasive visual recordings. Officials say Wyatt injured himself with a plastic knife of unknown origin before bailiffs could take him into custody as an inmate.
