U.S. Customs and Border Protection says a cocaine shipment was intercepted at the Pharr International Bridge last week.

Inspectors stopped a tractor-trailer at the bridge last Wednesday. X-rays and a physical inspection led to the discovery of 83 pounds of cocaine hidden in the trailer. Investigators estimated the value of the cocaine at over one-point-one-million dollars.
