Houston-area singer D4vd is pleading not guilty to the murder of a teenage girl. The performer, whose real name is David Burke, was arrested Thursday and accused of killing 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose remains were found in the trunk of his Tesla in September.

Investigators say Burke killed the girl after she threatened to expose him for asexually abusing her. Burke was charged with capital murder on Monday. If convicted, he faces life in prison without parole or the death penalty. He is being held without bail.
