President Donald Trump is pledging to “fully fund” federal recovery assistance after a tour of flood-ravaged Kerr County.

US Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn joined Trump for Friday’s visit to Kerrville, along with US House members from statewide. Republican state Senator Pete Flores and state Representative Wes Virdell, who both represent Kerr County, were also on hand.

Trump has expanded the federal disaster declaration to six counties. As a result, underinsured residents can seek reimbursement for rebuilding costs from FEMA.
