Two men are in custody and accused of assaulting a Texas state trooper in New Braunfels. Guadalupe County deputies and New Braunfels police increased patrols in the area of South Walnut Street and Divine Way while searching for the suspects, who ran away after the assault.
The sheriff’s office says at least one of the suspects was tased during the arrest. The trooper who was assaulted wasn’t seriously hurt.
