The Texas Lottery Commission and former Texas lottery director Gary Grief face criminal charges for reportedly rigging a Lotto Texas draw.
The agency and its executive are accused of helping international gamblers win a 95-million-dollar Lotto Texas draw in 2023. The professional bettors bought almost every possible six-number combination, more than 25 million Lotto tickets, for a sure jackpot winner.
The Travis County D-A’s office ordered Grief on Wednesday to appear in court on June 26th. The commission also received a summons.
