A woman is dead after a weekend crash in Edinburg. First responders were called to the intersection of Salinas Street and West Monte Cristo Road following the Saturday night crash.
Investigators say a vehicle ran a red light at the intersection and hit another vehicle, killing 39-year-old Martha Luna Miranda. Multiple passengers were injured in the crash.
Police arrested 31-year-old Miguel Angel Suarez after the crash and expect him to face charges of manslaughter and assault while intoxicated.
