By State and local officials are condemning social media videos showing Knicks fans attacking Spurs fans after Game Three in New York City.
In an X post on Tuesday, State Senator Roland Gutierrez called on New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to send in the police and get the situation under control.
San Antonio Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones called the harassment “unfortunate.” Spurs star forward Victor Wembanyama described it as “unacceptable.” The Spurs won Monday night’s Game Three of the NBA Finals, 115-111.
