A man accused of shooting and killing three people in Alton will be held without bond until trial.
Nineteen-year-old Gaurav Chopra was arraigned yesterday in Hidalgo County court on charges of capital murder, attempted murder and evading arrest. Investigators say Chopra shot and killed his parents and his grandmother, and tried to shoot his brother.
The three murder victims were all reportedly shot in the head. No motive for the shooting has been announced.
