Two adults are facing charges after allegedly giving alcohol to a teen in McAllen. Officers began investigating on Saturday after reports that a 15-year-old girl became sick after drinking alcohol in the 41-hundred block of Colbath Avenue.

Investigators learned that two minors had unrestricted access to alcohol during an event and drank directly from the bottles provided.

Jose Angel Gonzalez Garza and Jeanett Aguilar Garza were charged with two counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor following the investigation. They’ve both been released from jail on a two-thousand-dollar bond.
