Driscoll Children’s Hospital is expanding its Rio Grande Valley pediatric care unit. The hospital invested nine million dollars to add 15 beds to an area on the fifth floor. It also hired 30 new team members to accommodate the expansion.

The president of the Driscoll Health System says the expansion reflects continued investment in the RGV and a commitment to meet the growing demand for specialized pediatric care.
