The Donna school district is partnering with South Texas College for a new dual credit program for seniors. Up to 20 students can take classes at the Basic County Corrections Academy.

Students who complete the program will receive a basic jailer’s license and the opportunity to enter the workforce after graduation. The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement is also part of the partnership.
