The Edinburg school district’s Board of Trustees has approved a contract for the district’s new superintendent. Angela Dominguez was officially hired by the board on Tuesday.
Dominguez has worked in education for more than 30 years, including her most recent job as superintendent of the Donna school system. Board President Xavier Salinas said the board is confident in Dominguez’s leadership and is proud to welcome her to the district.
