The owner of a North Side gaming room that was raided last month is in custody and facing charges. Bexar County deputies arrested Carrie Gutierrez, owner of Blessed Sweepstakes on Hildebrand Avenue, on Friday.
Gutierrez is charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, possession of gambling devices, gambling promotion, and keeping a gambling place.
Deputies raided and shut down the game room on March 31st. At that time, they arrested three employees of the game room on related charges.
