A second suspect wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run in Edinburg has surrendered to police. Seventeen-year-old Jezaie Luis Gonzalez turned himself in Tuesday.
Investigators say Gonzalez made a false report to police to protect the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed 43-year-old David Moreno on June 26th. Police have not released the driver’s name, though the minor has reportedly been taken into custody on a charge of collision involving personal injury or death.
