Talarico Accepts CNN Debate Invitation, No Word From Paxton

There’s little progress in getting the two Texas candidates for the U.S. Senate together for a debate. Democrat James Talarico accepted CNN’s debate invitation on Wednesday, but so far no word from his Republican opponent Ken Paxton.

Talarico and Paxton have both said they want to have at least one debate before the midterm election on November 3rd. But Talarico is the only one who’s accepted four debate invitations.
