Air Force One has touched down in Beijing where President Trump is set to hold high-stakes talks with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Thursday. Trump and his delegation arrived this morning at Beijing Capital International Airport. His visit comes as the war in Iran continues.
China is Iran’s biggest trading partner. That close strategic relationship is expected to result in some pointed discussions between Trump and Xi. Before leaving Washington yesterday, Trump referred to the Chinese president as a “good friend” and said he doesn’t think China needs to intervene in the war.
