The longest federal shutdown in U.S. history is over. President Trump on Thursday signed a bill funding the Department of Homeland Security.

The bill, passed by the House and Senate, funds most of DHS, minus ICE and Border Patrol. Those two agencies are expected to be funded through the “reconciliation” process, which allows Republicans to bypass Democrats.
