By McAllen is celebrating its placement on a list of best places to live in the U.S. The annual ranking issued by U.S. News and World Report shows McAllen in 27th place.
The city also ranks 11th among Texas cities. A social media post this week from the City of McAllen says the ranking shows the strong sense of community, opportunity and quality of life that makes McAllen special.
