By (San Antonio, TX) — H-E-B is claiming the top spot when it comes to grocery stores. Dunnhumby, a customer data science company, recently released its ninth annual Retailer Preference Index, ranking the chain first for the fourth year in a row.
Market Basket, Woodman’s, Costco, and Aldi round out the top five. Dunnhumby says the ranking comes from looking into customer and financial data for the 81 largest supermarket, discount, superstore, club and online banners in the country.
