Convicted murderer Karmelo Anthony’s defense team says the fight over his conviction will continue, even though he’s been denied a new trial.
Defense attorneys say the claims and evidence presented during the hearing put the defense team in a stronger position as they carry on the appeals process.
Information came to light that the victim, 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, reportedly had aggressive and racist behavior in his past. But Anthony’s own past was found to include fighting, threats of violence and an obsession with knives.
