Firefighters are monitoring a ship fire reported at the Port of Brownsville. First responders were called to the SA Recycling Shipyard Wednesday evening.
Nearly two dozen firefighters contained the fire to one area of the ship and were monitoring for hot spots and flare-ups.
The fire reportedly started when piled-up material naturally combusted. No injuries were reported.
