Cities across Texas will need to spend 174-billion dollars over the next 50 years to avert a water crisis. That’s according to a new state analysis released this week.

Perry Fowler, who heads the Texas Water Infrastructure Network, says the state’s current funding plan not enough to handle the three-thousand projects, outlined in the report.
