The Democratic National Committee is saying no-thanks to Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones’s invitation to bring the party’s 2028 national convention to San Antonio.
The DNC announced Monday that the five cities being considered are Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver and Philadelphia. Jones had pitched San Antonio to the convention’s organizers last summer. The 2028 Republican National Convention will be held in Houston.
