Some parts of South Texas could see excessive rainfall and localized flooding today. The National Weather Service says there is a marginal risk of excessive rain, with a 30 to 40 percent chance of more than two inches in some places.
The chance of heavy rain is smaller in the Rio Grande Valley, though forecasters say there is a possibility the rainfall could shift further south.
