By State Representative James Talarico’s first TV attack ad of the U.S. Senate race is now on the air. The 30-second spot accusing Attorney General Ken Paxton of corruption aired for the first time Saturday during TCU’s season opener against the University of North Carolina.
Talarico has often criticized Paxton for his 2023 impeachment by the Texas House, but the ad is the first time he’s attacked his GOP opponent in a paid ad on the airwaves. The House impeached Paxton over claims of abuse of office, but the Texas Senate acquitted him.
