Gas prices across the state are easing slightly but remain elevated compared to recent weeks and last year. Triple-A says drivers are paying an average of about three-77 per gallon statewide.

Numbers show the price is up around 40-cents in the past month and more than a dollar compared to this time last year. Diesel prices have also surged, recently hitting a four-year high in parts of the state, though still below the national average.
