A Brownsville home has been seized by the federal government after a judge decided it was purchased with drug money. The home in the 300 block of Cowan Terrace was turned over to the government earlier this week.
Investigators say the property was owned by Juan De Dios Gomez Gonzalez, who was suspected of trafficking drugs into the U.S. until he died in 2023. The home is valued at around one-point-seven-million dollars.
