The Edcouch-Elsa school district has named a lone finalist for its superintendent position. The school board announced the selection of Rosalba De Hoyos on Monday.
De Hoyos has served in various roles at several South Texas school districts, including her most recent role as associate superintendent for instruction for the McAllen ISD. The board will need to wait about three weeks before it can offer De Hoyos a contract.
