An Edinburg man has been sentenced for distributing child pornography and enticement of a minor.
Federal investigators began looking into the activities of 20-year-old Carlos Genaro Rodriguez-Luna, Junior, in 2024. He was arrested in January of last year, when nine thousand images and videos involving children were found.
Investigators also found conversations between the suspect and a 13-year-old girl that include requests for sexually explicit material. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges last year, and was sentenced to 25 years in prison Wednesday.
