A teen arrested last year after a deadly crash in downtown McAllen has been indicted. Eighteen-year-old Gabriela Nunez Garcia will be arraigned Monday on charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxicated assault with a vehicle.
Investigators say Nunez Garcia ran a red light while speeding on North Bicentennial Boulevard on November 29th. The vehicle overturned, killing 25-year-old Jacob Joel Rodriguez and injuring five other people. Garcia could be sentenced to between two and 20 years in prison if convicted on the intoxication manslaughter charge.
